Places / Institutions

Places/ institutions available within 100km from study tours with brief description. Several Scientific Research Institutes are located within 100km from our Vidyalaya. A few among them are  :-

  • NGRI :- The National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) was established under CSIR in 1961 at Hyderabad with the mission to be the premier geoscientific organisation in India.  Its 60 kms from our school situated at habsiguda , Hyderabad.
  •  CCMB :- The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) is one of the constituent national laboratories of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research CSIR, the premier multidisciplinary Research & Development organisation of the Government of India. It was set up as a semi-autonomous Centre in 1977 in Hyderabad, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, became a full-fledged national laboratory during 1981-82.
  • IICT :-   Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad is a premier R&D Institute in India. The Institute had its origin as the Central Laboratories for Scientific & Industrial Research (CLSIR), established in 1944 by the then Government of Hyderabad State. After integration of Hyderabad State with the Indian Union, the laboratory expanded with its growing activities. The main building was formally opened by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the then Prime Minister of India on January 2, 1954.
  • ICRISAT : - The ICRISAT is located in the suburban area of Hyderabad City, Andhra Pradesh. Hyderabad is now known as one of India's high tech centers. After one hour drive from Indian chaos in Hyderabad, I reached Patancheru Village where the ICRISAT sits. Inside the campus of the ICRISAT was another world: no chaos but calmness; no congestion but natural beauty; no dust but all green. Many waterbirds come to the campus, which is surrounded by fields of pulses and millets.
     
    MRF Factory :-  Open land of 5.34 acres for sale with all amenities and developments on main road next to MRF factory, sadashivapet with clear title at reasonable rate.
     
     National Botanical Garden :- Botanical Garden developed by the Forests Department is situated near the Hitech City, Madhapur ( 16 km. from Hyderabad Railway station on the Hyderabad-Mumbai old Highway) . The Botanical Garden is aimed at providing the facility of a Modern Botanical Garden to conserve and develop the germ plasm and to educate the people. The garden spread over 120 acres of undulating land and when completed will have 19 sectors or 'Vanams'. Already open to public is the first phase, with the completion of 5 sections.
  • Nizam Sagar dam :- Nizam Sagar Dam is constructed on a tributary of Godavari region in the Nizamabad district. The place lies to the north west of the famous Pearl City or the capital of Andhra Pradesh. The distance from the state capital, Hyderabad, is about 145 kilometres and the towns featuring the dam include Achampet and Banjapalle.
